Chris Tucker Confirms That Rush Hour 4 Is In The Works

Get ready for Rush Hour 4! It's no longer a rumor because Chris Tucker himself has confirmed that the fourth installment of Rush Hour is in the works.

Jackie Chan has been actively trying to get the fourth movie in production but Chris's participation was uncertain.

During an interview with Power 106's The Cruz Show, Chan said, "For the last seven years, we’ve been turning down the script, turning down the script. Yesterday, we just agreed."

"The script probably at the end of this month will have a second draft and next year, [the filming will] probably start."

In the interview Chan mentioned that Chris did not yet confirm and it was merely a matter of scheduling.

"It’s not about money! It’s about [setting aside the] time to make [the film]," Chan said. "Otherwise, Rush Hour 4 we’re all old men. I tell Chris Tucker, "Before we get old, please do Rush Hour 4."

In 2012, Tucker mentioned in an interview with Vulture that he was interested in Rush Hour 4, saying: "Rush Hour 4, we're looking into it, me and Jackie. We're trying to get it going, so we're developing something, so hopefully, we'll get something in."

But the real confirmation came on February 21st 2018 during an interview with ESPN's podcast The Plug,

Chris said, "It's definite. It’s happening. This is gonna be the one. The rush of all rushes." He added, "Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it."
