23. John Franklin: Children of the Corn, 1984

John Franklin played the pivotal role of Issac Chroner in the film adaptation of Stephen King's novel, "Children of the Corn". Since the movie he hasn't played any major movie roles and became an English teacher. But in 2015 he quit his job and decided to act again.

22. Lindsey Haun: Village of the Damned, 1995

Lindsey Haun played the Children's leader, Mara Chaffee in Village Of The Damned. Today she still acts in movies and composes her own soundtracks.

21. Daveigh Chase: The Ring, 2002

The Ring, one of the creepiest horror films of this generation starred Daviegh Chase who played the role of Samara Morgan. Today, her acting career is still pretty solid. She voices cartoon characters and sings. She also rides in her spare times.

20. Linda Blair: The Exorcist, 1973

Linda Blair's role in "The Exorcist" won her Golden Globe award. She played demon possessed girl Regan MacNeil. Her career didn't really take off much after. She did however cameo in Supernatural in 2006.

Jodelle is known not just for the role of Sharon and Alessa in Silent Hill: in 2009, she starred in another horror movie, Case 39. Since 2015, she has been working on the science fiction series Dark Matter.

Emily Browning's role as Katie Harwood was just one of the first roles in her very successful career. She once even turned down an audition to play Bella Swann in Twilight. She currently makes music and stars in the series "American Gods".

17. Isabelle Fuhrman: Orphan, 2009

Issabelle Fuhrman became another young horror star who went on to do big things. She played the role of Esther in the Orphan and jobs came in big and heavy for the young actor. She appeared in "The Hunger Games" in 2012 and in the movie "Cell" in 2016.

16. Miko Hughes: Pet Sematary, 1989

Miko Hughes did a great job in his role as Gage Creed in Pet Sematary but even though he managed to land roles in "Melrose Place" and "Bevely Hills" he was unable to make a successful career after.

15. Sissy Spacek: Carrie, 1976

Sissy Spacek's role as Carrie in the film adapatation of the Stephen King classic "Carrie" won her an Oscar and 3 Golden Globes. She hasn't done much since her role in Carrie but she made appearances in "The Help" and the series "Bloodline". 

14. Ivana Baquero: Pan’s Labyrinth, 2006

Spanish actress Ivana Baquero dazzled the film makers so much in her audition that they rewrote the script just for her. The character Ofelia was supposed to be 3 years younger but despite being among 1,000 contenders and being too old for the part she was still selected.  Today, Ivana stars in the TV series, The Shannara Chronicles.

13. Kirsten Dunst: Interview With the Vampire, 1994

We all know that Kirsten Dunst went on to have a very successful career. And some of it can definitely be attributed to her role of Claudia in Interview with the Vampire. She has appeared in cinema over 80 times and nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe. She is also very active in charity organizations.

12. AnnaSophia Robb: The Reaping, 2007

AnnaSophia Robb is a massive success right now. But one of her first roles as Loren McConnel. She went on to act in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and the rest is history. She currently studies at New York Uniersity in the midst of her acting schedule.

Seamus didn't know back when he played Damien in the sequel to 1976 Omen film that he was acting as the son of the devil. Seamus is currently focusing his acting career to TV series.

Cody Dorkin from Village of the Damned did not go on to become an actor but currently owns a cinema studio and seeks out fresh young talent.


9. Louise and Lisa Burns: The Shining, 1980

Lisa and Louise played a big role as the Grady Twins in The Shining but their career ended there. They did no more acting after that and the two sisters also credited the role for their difficulty in getting into schools who turned them down because of shooting. Lisa is now becoming lawyer and Louise is a scientist.

The part of Emily in Hide and Seek is in no way at the top of Dakota Fanning’s record. Today the actress is only 23, but the list of her films and awards is rather impressive. Apart from acting, Dakota works as a model and presents collections of famous fashion designers.
