Sup Travellers?! Remember the hot Belgian World Cup fan I wrote about yesterday? Well, she was incredibly close to being associated with L'Oreal in her modelling endeavors but all her ties with the company were allegedly cut after it was found out she was a fan of big game hunting just like the internet's most hated teen, Kendall Jones.

If you've been following internet trends you should have heard about all the controversy surrounding Kendall Jones and the pictures that she posted online. [Read more about Kendall here.]

Well, 17-year-old Axelle Despiegelaere has been seeing a lot of that same hate Kendall Jones had gotten and L'Oreal is refusing to take the backlash from it. So the company ALLEGEDLY severed all the ties with the teen as they are not in support of cruelty to animals.

On Axelle's Facebook page there is a photo of the teen posing with a rifle and the bloodied corpse of a large Gemsbok antelope with the caption: "Hunting is not a matter of life or death. It's much more important than that."

Speaking to The Independent, the cosmetics giant said: "L’Oréal Professionnel Belgium collaborated with her on an ad hoc basis to produce a video for social media use in Belgium. The contract has now been completed."

The L'Oreal spokesperson added that, although the brand was aware of the photograph of the hunting trip, it would not comment on whether it led to the decision to sever ties with Despiegelaere.

They were keen to stress, however, that L'Oréal "no longer tests on animals, anywhere in the world, and does not delegate this task to others."

L'Oreal has long promoted itself as sensitive to animal welfare concerns.

In 2012 the company donated $1.2million to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to help improve the testing of safe chemicals.

I think L'Oreal's decision to sever all ties with the model is going to negatively affect her career when it comes to negotiations with other companies. There is now a negative connotation associated with the model that will make companies hesitant to work with her, but just like Kendall Jones, Axelle's going to have to face the consequences of her actions. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
