Sup Travellers?! The likelihood of a couple dying on the same day of natural causes isn't as --- unlikely --- as you may think. In the past couple months I think I wrote about at least three couples who died within hours of each other.

And well, today I'm writing another one because I can't get enough of stories like this. I know it's sad and whatnot but these are the few couples who were so in love with each other that not even death could have separated them.

The latest couple to have died within hours of each other were from Oklahoma and they both died on June 30th.

NewsOK reports that 82-year-old Barbara Pettis died on the morning of June 30, in an Oklahoma nursing home after battling health problems for a couple of years. 85-year-old Bob Pettis, who was in the hospital at the time with a case of pneumonia, died just hours later at 8 pm.

It was incredibly tragic for the family but the couple's son, Clay Pettis, was not one bit surprised they died on the same day. "I don't believe in coincidences, and I didn't sit down and tell Dad that Mama was gone. But I'm sure he knew," he told NewsOK.

“They lived just ordinary lives, but you get closer and start looking, and you realize that what you thought was ordinary was very extraordinary,” Pettis said of his parents. "They weren't all ‘smoochy-woochy, touchy-wouchy,’ but in their voices, and the way they looked at each other, you could see their love. Just in the little things.”

Babara and Bob Pettis made their vows back in 1951 and they were both schoolteachers at the end of their careers. She taught at Butner, Skiatook and Wann, and he taught vocational agriculture at Sperry, Copan and Wann.

What makes this even more amazing is that Bob wasn't told that his wife passed away. She died and then he died almost instinctively after. It's like his body naturally knew that she was gone and decided to finally let go. If that isn't love then I don't know what is. I hope that they both rest in peace. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
