Transgender Woman Of Color Burned To Death And Thrown In The Trash.

Sup Travellers?! I've got some super sad news coming out of the sunny state of Florida. According to reports from News-Press, Yaz’min Shancez was shot, set on fire and thrown in the trash. Police found her dead body with gunshot wounds and burns behind the garbage container at a rental business located at 2807 Fowler St.

“We don’t have much information at this time, but this is an active investigation,” Fort Myers Police Department Lt. Jay Rodriguez. told BuzzFeed. “We are working to put all the pieces together and find out who did this.”

Police said there were no eyewitnesses, but that they've copied and are reviewing surveillance footage from cameras near the scene for clues.

Additionally, authorities said they have no reason to believe the murder was a hate crime because 31-year-old Shancez was transgender. Her past points out that she could have been killed for reasons beside her sexuality.

She had a criminal history. Arrests included charges of trespassing (2002), failure to appear in court (2004, 2013), violation of probation (2006), prostitution (2009) and cocaine possession (2011.)

“His transgender status would only be taken into consideration by investigators if he was specifically targeted because of it,” Rodriguez said by email. “Other than that, we would treat this case like our other homicide cases.”

This is just another incident where we can clearly see the animistic behaviors associated with the human psyche. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
