Sup Travellers?! I am not going to comment on how disturbing this story is. I think I'll just leave that for you people to do on Facebook.

I know for a fact that funerals are supposed to be sad. A family just lost a loved one forever. There's no way you can sugarcoat that, based on my opinion. However, everyone is entitled to do what they please within the constraints of the law and if a family decides to throw a party to mourn the death of a loved one, who are we to say they can't?

According to reports from WGNO, Miriam "Mae Mae" Burbank's two daughters decided to make the funeral of their late mother a lively one in accordance with her personality. Instead of having a funeral, they had a "last party".

They convinced funeral directors to help stage her body with all of her favorite things: Busch beer, menthols, crossword puzzles, disco lights, and tiny New Orleans Saints helmets. The body is also propped up on a chair with sunglasses on.

Burbank’s daughters said other family members seemed to enjoy this fitting goodbye.

I believe it was just one of the ways the family decided to cope with the loss. And I have a feeling that Burbank set them up to it before she died. It's not stated in any reports but I have a feeling that Burbank wanted her funeral to be a "last party". Because let's be honest.....No one likes a funeral. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
