Sup Travellers?! If you ever borrow a book from a library and fail to return it be sure to keep in mind that there is a slight possibility that the POPO could burst through your door at any minute and incarcerate you. So hope to God that you're not a slow reader like Jory C. Enck, of Copperas Cove in central Texas who took almost three years to read a G.E.D Study guide. Obviously he didn't take three years to read the book but that didn't stop the Police from booking him into a Texas jail.

Fox News reported that Jory was arrested Oct. 23 on an outstanding warrant after he allegedly failed to return a GED study guide that he checked out in 2010. He was released on a $200 bond and given a court date, in accordance with a local ordinance. The city ordinance was passed to crack down on delinquent readers like Jory. According to the city's municipal judge, Bill Price, "the reason they passed it was that they were spending a tremendous amount of money replacing these materials that people just didn't return."

People are currently in jail for murder, rape and other distasteful things but Jory was in jail for not returning a library book. I could only imagine how the conversation went when a fellow prisoner asked him what he was in jail for [LOL]. Getting jailed for not returning a library book is like the smartest crime that anyone can ever commit. LIKE SERIOUSLY!! Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you'v just been informed.
