Sup Travellers?! Jay Z's new album has seen a different level of success for the rap mogul. Magna Carter Holy Grail was the number one album in the world for a few weeks and it's still getting sales. Jay-Z’s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail slipped to No. 2 on Billboard 200 Chart last week however after selling an additional 77,000 copies. Selena Gomez's new album Stars Dance is currently No. 1. But his promotion for the album isn't over yet. When you thought he was done with the promotions he dropped a short film called "Picasso Baby."

Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film was directed by Mark Romanek. The 10-minute film shows Jay-Z performing at an art gallery and interacting with guests which includes Marina Abramovic, Michael K. Williams, Taraji P. Henson and plenty screaming females. I think it was pretty well done and that Jay Z has a point. Music and all the other forms of art should be brought as one. They all cousins in the family of art but music has always been seen as the most immature form of art. Anyway, My name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.

One Response so far.

For what it's worth, Abramović is more likely calling music "the most immaterial form of art" -- not "immature."
