Sup Travellers?! It seems as though no matter what party is put in power in Trinidad and Tobago, the same sh*t happens. The crime rate is still high, the poor people are still fighting up to make ends meet in the second richest country in the Caribbean and the crazy people are still running rampant. I am very aware that there are somethings that the government can't do but to me it seems as though no effort is being made. But that's just my opinion. Read on.

According to reports from the Trinidad Express, a father and two of his children were stabbed to death at their home at Ackbar Trace, South Oropouche last night, by a man who has been identified by police as Sylvan Alladin. The folks who died were Berricou Subhan, 46, his daughter Sherifa, 14, and five year old son, Musaf. Subban's wife Rasheeda Alladin, who was also stabbed, is apparently related to the killer. Rasheeda and two of her children, Lila,6, and Salin, 7 survived the ordeal. Salin was the only one who escaped without injury.

Police said that at around 9.30 p.m, Alladin went to Subhan's home and began arguing. Alladin pulled a knife and began stabbing Subhan, whose wife tried to intervene. She too was stabbed several times before running to the home of a neighbour. The killer then went into the house and stabbed the two children Musaf and Sherifa until they died. When police arrived at the scene, Alladin was still in the house. They found the man sitting in the house with the two other children sitting on his lap. Their mouths and hands were bound with duct tape. Alladin stabbed Lila on the leg, and police opened fire, killing him.

The actions of Alladin can be clearly classified as crazy. It seemed as though he was waiting for the police to come get him because he was sitting in the house with the two children on his lap. It was definitely more than just a killing based on an argument. Drugs may have had an effect and probably loosened some screws in his head. But the man was shot dead by police so he isn't a threat anymore. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing but it doesn't change the fact that my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.

One Response so far.

They should have tortured him before they shot him... peel his skin from his bones.. make him feel what he have done.

Right now in Trinidad an epidemic is at hand.. children fighting and disobeying the law.
Is it too hard to walk away from a fight?
People's pride is way to high and it makes them do stupid things, crazy things.
Throwing away your life is not worth it.
Walk away from a fight and be the bigger man.
