Fox Is Planning A Rookie Of The Year Remake.

Life just got a lot better for 90's kids because the classic 1993 family sports comedy Rookie Of The Year is making a grand comeback to the big screen and we've got all the details.
Fox has hired Dan Gregor and Doug Mand to write a script for a remake of Rookie Of The Year. And in case you are wondering who are these fine gentlemen and why should we even care, I will let you know. Dan Gregor is the mastermind behind "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and Doug Mand is the mastermind behind "How I Met Your Mother". So it is clear that these two men are more than capable of writing an amazing and funny remake of the classic film.

The original Rookie Of The Year is about a young lad who, after an accident, found himself with a powerful pitching arm. Because of this he is quickly recruited by the Chicago Cubs. But young Henry soon learns that there is more to being a kid than getting his dream career on his favorite team.
I'm a 90's kid so I can so appreciate this news. Rookie Of The Year was one of my favorite films at a point in my life and even though it's been years since I last saw it, I still remember how the film made me feel.

Are you looking forward to see Fox's remake of the classic film or should Hollywood just leave it alone. Let me know on Facebook or in the comments section below. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
