Netflix's Dark Sabrina The Teenage Witch Gets A Release Date.

Netflix's Sabrina The Teenage Witch is almost here and seems to be taking a much darker tone than we had originally thought.
Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has concocted a new version of the classic TV series that is supposedly a mix between "Rosemary's Baby" and "The Exorcist". It will be called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and the 10-episode first season will be dropping a few days before Halloween on October 26th.

Kiernan Shipka (pictured above) will be playing the role of Sabrina in the new show and she will be "wrestling to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal, while fighting the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.
Sabrina Spellman is described as an empowered young woman — half-human, half-witch — who is just beginning her dark education as a sorceress, even as she tries to maintain a normal life as a sophomore at Baxter High. Intelligent, compassionate and brave to the point of recklessness, Sabrina is all that stands between us and the forces of darkness that threaten our world."

Netflix has already ordered a second season so it is clear that they are going all in with this series. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing this new take on Sabrina The Teenage Witch.

I would love to know what you think about this new series? Do you think making a dark version of the show was a good idea? And would you watch it? Let me know on Facebook or in the comments section below.

Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
