Sup Travellers?! In just a matter of seconds, one father from Tampa Bay became the worst father of 2015 thus far. According to reports from Fox News 25-year-old John Nicholas Jonchuck Jr. threw his daughter off the Sunshine Skyway bridge to her death.

A police officer saw the whole thing and tried to save the girl but to no avail. A few minutes after midnight, Jonchuck Jr.'s car caught the attention of the officer who was driving home. When the officer came to the top of the Sunshine Skyway bridge, he saw the vehicle had stopped and that its driver had left the car and was speaking unintelligibly.

Jonchuck Jr. came to the other side of his vehicle, pulled out a young girl, put her face to his chest, and then threw her into the water 62 feet below. Jonchuck drove off calmly while the officer called in what he had just seen, and tried to locate and rescue the girl.

Two officers heard the report and waited for the suspect's car to cross the bridge. They then followed the car across the highway. Once the officers turned on their lights, the vehicle u-turned, attempted and failed to ram the officers, and drove away on the south side of the northbound highway. Manatee County deputees’ well-deployed stop stakes halted the suspect car and the officers were able to arrest Jonchuck.

It is not clear whether the girl, Phoebe Jonchuck, was alive when she was thrown into the water. Investigators are awaiting a medical examiner’s report.

Jonchuck was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated fleeing and eluding, and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle on a law enforcement officer. He has refused to speak with or be interviewed by the St. Petersburg Police Department, but police report that one month ago he had sought a domestic violence injunction against the girl’s mother. The request was denied.

There are probably a million reasons why he killed his daughter but there are also a million more reasons why he shouldn't have. Besides the fact that she was his blood child and loving daughter I think he should have also considered the fact that murder is illegal and that killing someone, whether it be your daughter or the postman, lands some serious consequences. Now he's in jail and now the little girl is dead. There were obviously better ways that he could have handled that situation. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
