A 16 Year Old Girl Posted This On Facebook Right Before She Ended Her Own Life

Sup Travellers?! It's been a while since I posted a suicide story on my blog and it isn't because of a lack of them but mainly because the depressing nature of the stories is quite troublesome.

However, this suicide story involving 16-year-old North Carolina girl,  Amber Cornwell does have a take away because right before she died she posted "Would anyone cry?" on Facebook.

The post seems rather vague and at the time probably didn't seem like much to her Facebook friends but it was definitely a warning sign that she was about to do something stupid.

The teenager was later found dead after seemingly hanging herself in a closet.

Maybe if Cornwell was a sulky and depressed teen people would have taken her post a bit more seriously but she was reportedly an honor roll student, tennis player, dancer, and member of the All County Chorus. The only real blemish in her extremely ambitious lifestyle according to WLOS-TV is that she was bullied.

One of the girl's close friends, Sierra Crochet, told WLOS-TV that bullies would call Cornwell names and tell her "she had no future and had nothing going for her."

Cornwell definitely had a bright future and I'm sure that the reason her bullies said otherwise was because that they were jealous. Bullies only pick on people because of their own insecurities. Happy people don't go around bullying people. But the sad part about it is that Cornwell actually believed them.

The other sad part of this already tragic story is that the girl's grieving parents had to bury their daughter on the day after Christmas.

I'm hoping that Cornwell’s tragic suicide will result in more awareness about the devastating impact bullying can have on victims.
