Jackie Chan’s Son Could Face Death Penalty In China.

Sup Travellers?! Famous Hollywood actor Jackie Chan is an anti-drugs spokesman in China and a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference but his son clearly doesn't share the same morals because on Monday, Jaycee Chan was arrested in Beijing on marijuana charges along with Taiwanese actor Ko Chen-tung.

Both actors tested positive for marijuana and the younger Chan was found to have over three and a half ounces of marijuana at his home. The quantity of marijuana could constitute intent to sell.

According to Kotaku, the 31-year-old Chan could find himself in serious trouble with the law over his drug charges because China has very strict laws for Marijuana. Chan may face anywhere from mandatory rehab to three years in prison for the hundred grams of marijuana police found. During CCTV's broadcast they mention that the Younger Chan can face other charges including selling drugs. Drug dealing in China is technically an executable offense.

China is very well known for executing drug dealers. According to AFP, China executed six people in 2010 over drug dealing related cases.

Jackie Chan flew to Beijing on Monday to try to use his influence to help his son.

I think that the younger Chan should be punished but COME ON --- don't execute the guy!! That's Jackie Chan's son for God's sake. I know there is USUALLY no favoritism in court but jail time should be enough punishment for a first time drug offender. I'm just saying. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
