Sup Travellers?! Even though the video above comes across as empowering and inspirational there are still a few loopholes in it that I think must be addressed.

Firstly, humans in general should have the freedom to make their own choices but should also have the awareness to know the results of each choice. So if a woman decides to dress provocatively then she should be prepared to be harassed for it. It's not right for men to harass women on the streets based on the way that they dress but it's the natural tendency of some men to do it.

It's like jumping in a sea of sharks with a bloody cut and expecting not to get eaten alive. You can't change the consequences of certain actions or defy nature just by thinking that you are right. Things just don't work like that and I think that some women need to start being honest with themselves.

However, with that being said, I can commend the video for bringing across a very scary reality that most women face on a day to day basis. Men verbally harassing women on the streets is one problem but the other more serious problem is when the harassment goes beyond words. No matter how a woman dresses she doesn't deserve to be assaulted. It's an injustice to humanity to say the least.

It's a problem that existed for a long time and I think the most women can do for now is take the necessary steps to remain safe.

I don't believe that a woman wearing provocative clothing is "asking for it" but I think a woman's choice of wear does have a huge part to play in how men perceive her and treat her. But that's just my opinion. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
