Sup Travellers?! Things took a turn for the worst yesterday when a mother visited her daughter's school in France and stabbed a teacher to death without any real motive. According top reports from BBC,  the 47-year-old suspect walked into her daughter's school in southern France on Friday and stabbed Fabienne Terral-Calmes, 34, in front of terrified students.

Before the assault, the assailant apparently shouted, "I am not a thief!!"

It is unsure what caused her to shout that especially since she had little contact with school staff before that day. Some believe that Terral-Calmes had called the assailant's 5-year-old daughter a thief and that sparked the stabbing but investigations a re still continuing. The 47-year-old attacker, not yet named, immediately fled the school, but was arrested by armed police 20 minutes later near her home.

Education Minister Mr. Hamon said teachers from other classes immediately protected Ms Calmes' pupils who took them to another teaching room to talk to them, and read them stories “to try to break them away from what they had just lived through.”

The attacker's daughter has been sent to social services

Mr. Manson paid tribute to the slain teacher, using her maiden name, Fabienne Terral-Calmes: "She was 34, a school teacher, mother to two little girls, Romane et Adele, who have lost their mummy. And the national education system has lost a formidable teacher."

Mr. Hamon said the whole of France was ‘deeply shocked’ by a crime which came at the end of the school year.

The slain teacher left behind two young daughters.

I really wouldn't have expected to hear a story like this coming out og France. It is usually rare to hear bad news coming out of there and this in itself is deeply worrying.

My condolences go out to the family and friends of the slain teacher. My name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
