Sup Travellers?! Finding a five year old mummified corpse hanging in an abandoned home may not be the most common thing to see these days. If someone dies, most people would know [especially if that person was dead for five whole years!!!]. The smell should be a dead giveaway.

But according to authorities, the location in which the dead body hung protected it from decomposition, as well as animals and insects. The body was reportedly hung in a closet in a dusty old house in Dayton, Ohio once thought to be abandoned.

"Because of the location where he was found, it was relatively protected, sunlight protected, temperature protected and low humidity," coroner Kent Harshbarger told CNN.

The coroner's office believes it's a suicide by hanging, but police are still investigating. Edward Brunton bought the house in 2009, and reportedly died shortly after that -- but nobody in the community knew.

His body may have remained there without anyone noticing but one curious 12 year old Ohio boy ventured into the old house on Sunday and found the mummified corpse of 53-year-old Edward Brunton hanging in the closet.

"When he first came across it, he thought it was a dummy, or a mannequin or something," Michelle McGrath, the boy's mother said. "My son came home and said that he had gone into an abandoned house and he found a body.

This is the kind of thing that could scar a 12 year old boy for life. Finding a mummified corpse could even scar a grown man for life. It's an experience that I won't wish on anyone, even myself. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
