Sup Travellers?! The legend, Michael Jackson, may have died half a decade ago but that apparently isn't stopping Epic Records from producing a new album in his name. According to the BBC, a new Michael Jackson album, featuring eight new tracks from the late artist's archive, will be released on 13 May 2014.

Epic records has gained the support of the Jackson Estate and has called the album "XSCAPE". It will include eight previously unreleased recordings and the deluxe edition will include the songs in their original forms. Timbaland, Rodney Jenkins, Stargate, and John McClain have been listed as contributed producers.

LA Reid called the process of reworking the songs "contemporizing".

"Michael left behind some musical performances that we take great pride in presenting through the vision of music producers that he either worked directly with or expressed strong desire to work with," said Reid.

"We are extremely proud and honored to present this music to the world."

This could just be a ploy by Epic Records to milk the Jackson fame but I think I'll support it. Why? If there is unheard music from Michael Jackson I think I want to hear it. It could be a whole lot of crap but at least we get to hear everything that the great man had to offer during his stay. Looking forward to hearing it. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
