Parrot Snitches On Murderer And Gets Him Arrested.

Sup Travellers?! In news to make you love parrots but feel sorry for them at the same time: an Indian journalist named Vijay Sharma managed to catch the person who killed his wife after getting a tip off - from his pet parrot. It's a bit hard to believe but it's only because of the parrot that Sharma was able to catch the man who killed his wife.

Reports from Daily Mail UK say that when Sharma returned to his home in Agra he found both his wife Neelam Sharma, 45, and her pet dog, murdered. The only survivor was Sharma's pet parrot. Police had no leads on the case until one day when Vijay's nephew Ashutosh visited their house after the murder.

Mr Sharma said: 'The parrot that was unusually quiet suddenly started shrieking and flapping around the cage.

"It was clearly distressed about something and only calmed down when Ashutosh left.

"Then when I spoke to other people, every time I mentioned Ashutosh's name the parrot would start screeching.

"This made me really suspicious and I decided to call the police."

Police spokesman Shalabh Mathur said they looked at Ashutosh's phone records after being told he may be a suspect and found cause to bring him in for questioning.

Mr Mathur said: "He said that he had gone together with a friend to his uncle's house with the intent of stealing and have been surprised by his aunt, who they had killed because they were worried she would have identified them to police. They had then robbed the place before fleeing.

"He admitted he had also killed the dog worried that it could be used in an identity parade against him, but had not thought about killing the parrot which had been silent in its cage."

Such a smart bird. It stayed completely quiet in his cage while everything was happening. And based on the bird's interaction to Ashutosh it seems like the parrot knew exactly what went down. The parrot literally became scarred by the murder. Something that would noramlly happen to a human happened to a parrot. A PARROT!! Poor bird. I also feel for Sharma who probably trusted his nephew. His nephew who then turned around and murdered his beloved wife. So sad. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
