Sup Travellers?! The last time a big asteroid flew pass earth there was a meteor strike in Russia. Remember that? It happened around this same time last year. Well another asteroid is about to fly pass earth tonight and it's flying fast. It's reportedly moving at a speed of about about 27,000mph.

Space.com reports that asteroid 2000 EM26 is about the size of three football fields but it poses no immediate threat to earth [Because it's just an asteroid]. The asteroid is said to whizz part earth at a safe distance of about 2 million miles away. There is always the possibility of debris falling to earth but that doesn't seem to be an issue as of now.

The asteroid should put on a good show for all the onlookers. If you are interested in seeing it then you can tune into the webcast of the entire thing on Space.com at 9pm Eastern time today. I also have the webcast embedded on my site. [See above]

I'm not sure if i'm going to be able to see it where I am so i'm just going to have to rely on the live recording. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
