Wife Of Indian Minister Found Dead After Exposing Her Husband's Love Affair On Twitter To 2 Million Followers.

Sup Travellers?! I've never seen the Scandal TV series but i'd think that the strange political scandal that went down in India between Wednesday and Friday was close enough for me to get an idea of the plot....Kind of. The Times of India reports that Sunanda Pushkar, the wife of government minister Shashi Tharoor, was found dead on Friday in her hotel room in New Delhi.

The cause of her death is not fully known yet but we do know that her death came only a couple days after her high-profile fight on Twitter with a Pakistan-based journalist who she claims was in an affair with her husband. The journalist's name is Mehr Tarar and Pushkar took to Twitter to expose a "rip-roaring affair" between her husband and Tarar. Pushkar gained insight on the alleged affair when she got into her husband's Twitter account and found some of the private messages sent to her husband by Tarar. She tweeted the private messages publicly for everyone to see. She called Tarar a stalker. "I have nothing to say to a woman clearly out of her mind," Tarar tweeted in response.

Did Puskar's actions cost her her life? The twitter feud started on Wednesday then on Friday the 52 year old was found dead in her hotel room. Mere coincidence? "I'm absolutely shocked," Tarar tweeted upon hearing the news of Pushkar's death. "This is too awful for words. So tragic I don't know what to say. Rest in peace." After the autopsy on Saturday, her death was described as "sudden" and "unnatural".

"It was sudden, unnatural death. There were certain injuries on the body," Sudhir Gupta, the head of the forensic sciences department at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, said after the autopsy. He told reporters it would take a couple of days to determine the precise cause of death. Some professionals are saying that it could have been a drug overdose. She was very depressed after finding out about her husband's alleged affair so she must have used drugs to deal with it. However that does not explain the injuries on her body. Unless she harmed herself then I could safely assume that there was some foul play involved. But that's just my assumption. We'll just have to wait on the final results of the autopsy. My name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
