Sup Travellers?! If you plan on doing something illegal it probably won't be wise to bring a talking rat snitch bird with you. It's already not wise doing something illegal with the potential of going to jail or getting fined. Throwing in a talking bird with that is just a rat in disguise. Mexican motorist Guillermo Reyes learned this the hard way last week when his very own parakeet ratted him out.

The New York Daily News reports that Reyes was stopped at an alcohol checkpoint in Mexico City. Before Reyes was able to say much a voice chirped from the car, "he's drunk, he's drunk!" The voice came from the man's pet parakeet. The bird apparently knew what he was talking about because after the breathalyzer test it was discovered that Reyes was in fact drunk. He was arrested but he was not arrested alone. His feathered friend was also arrested with him. The bird wasn't arrested because he did something wrong. He was arrested because animal control officers discovered that Reyes and the parakeet shared a very special bond. It was feared that the parakeet might die if separated from his owner. The two were held in the El Torito jail overnight then released the following day.

How was the bird able to deduce that his owner was drunk? Maybe the bird was just flapping his mouth randomly or maybe he noticed the bottles of alcohol. How smart can a parrot be? Smart enough to snitch on his owner for drunk driving, I could tell you that. The poor bird was probably scared stiff in the car hoping to God that his drunk ass owner didn't drive the car off a bridge or something. He probably couldn't wait to tell the police [LOL]. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
