Kevin Hart And Ice Cube's New Movie, Ride Along, Breaks Box Office Record.

Sup Travellers?! This weekend was a big weekend for Kevin Hart and Ice Cube. Their new movie, Ride Along, debuted in theaters. Some people were skeptical about it but the film exceeded exceptions this weekend as it debuted on top of the box office charts with a whopping $41.2 million beating Universal's Navy SEAL drama Lone Survivor starring Mark Wahlberg and The Nut Job.

The film didn't only do its job of topping the box office but it also broke a record. It is biggest opening for a film released during Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend and Forbes reports that it is on track to top the $46.1 million record set by Cloverfield in 2008 for the biggest opening of January. Now that is performance!!! This is Kevin Hart's first starring role in a movie and these figures makes his future look very bright. This success came after his successful career in stand-up comedy and his supporting role in Think Like A Man.

I didn't watch the film because I really didn't feel the need to go watch it this weekend but now i'm convinced that I should find myself in the theaters as soon as possible. I have no doubt that it will be entertaining because Kevin Hart is always a blast. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
