Dubai's Fireworks Break Guinness World Record.

Sup Travellers?! The city of Dubai started off the new year with a BANG!!! And when I say BANG, I mean BANG!!! The people of Dubai were so eager to welcome in the new year that they set off more than 500,000 fireworks in one large pyrotechnics show. The entire spectacle was controlled by a network of 100 computers, took 10 months to plan and cost a whooping $6 million. The pyrotechnics show went on to break the Guinness World Record for largest pyrotechnics show on New Year's Eve.

The previous record was held by Kuwait with 77,282 fireworks in 2012. As you can see, Dubai passed Kuwait's record with flying colors. What a way to work in the new year. I'm looking forward to see a nation top Dubai's record. Maybe 500,001 fireworks..LOL. Dubai currently also holds records for the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, and the world's largest manmade island, Palm Jumeirah. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
