3 Dead After Tragic Supermarket Shooting In Indiana.

Sup Travellers?! I got some really tragic and strange news coming out of Elkhart, Indiana. According to reports from NBC News, 3 people died last night after a fatal shooting ensued. A gunman entered Martin's Super Market just after 10pm and started firing, killing two women. The two victims were a staff member in her late teens or early 20s and a customer in her 40s. Their bodies were found 10 to 12 aisles apart. The older victim was identified as Rachelle Godfread [pictured on the right in the photo above] and the younger victim was identified as Krystle Dikes [pictured below]. The suspect was identified as Shawn Walter Bair [pictured on the left in the photo above], a local white man in his 20s.

Police arrived at the scene before Walter was able to escape. He pointed his semiautomatic handgun at the officers triggering retaliation by them. Several rounds were fired before Bair got shot by the police and succumbed to his injuries. It is still unclear if the gunman had any kind of relationships with the women he shot. Was it just an incident of random shooting or did the gunman intend to kill the two women in particular? Police are investigating.

"There is not a day that goes by it seems anymore that we aren't learning about a school shooting or at a business. We hope this would never come to our hometown, and here it is." A police spokesman says.

I think that police must be commended for their quick response to the situation. They reached just in time to neutralize the shooter before he was able to escape into the night or do more damage. I don't think that Bair would be a problem anymore. It's just sad that Godfread and Dikes had to go down with him. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
