Sup Travellers?! If you're a fan of Avatar then Sam Worthington, the main character in the film, has some huge news for you. The Australian actor announced that "Avatar 2" is set to begin production at this same time next year, with the idea to film the second, third and fourth installments in a simultaneous fashion. He revealed the information during an interview he had with Australian radio station, Nova 96.9.

"Avatar 2" is set for release in December of 2016. It will be followed by the third and fourth films in, respectively, 2017 and 2018 with the possibility of the fourth film being a prequel according to James Cameron. "I haven't really put pen to paper on it, but basically it goes back to the early expeditions of Pandora, and kind of what went wrong with the humans and the Na'vi and what that was like to be an explorer and living in that world," Cameron told MTV in September of 2012 "We'll start, not imitating 'Star Wars,' but it's a logical thing to do because we'll have completed the thematic arc by the end of three."

It's not very hard to actually imagine how the sequels to the blockbuster hit, "Avatar" will play off. The story line is relatively straightforward. But James Cameron does have a reputation of surprising everyone in his movies so I won't be surprised if the Na'vi find themselves talking to Master Yoda and fighting with Light Sabers. IT'S POSSIBLE!! Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
