TRINIDAD: Man Murdered Outside Of A School.

Sup Travellers?! If you want to traumatize a group of Primary school students for life, all you have to do is shoot a man and leave his bloody dead body in front of the school for all the students to see. That should definitely do the trick. Sigh! The Trinidad and Tobago Newsday reported that a man's bloody body was found lying outside of Longdenville Government Primary School on Wednesday. Read on.

Students of Longdenville Government Primary School were greeted by the sight of a dead body as they arrived at school. The dead man was later identified as Taradath “Pooran” Mahabir, 53, of Longdenville Old Road, Longdenville. The Newsday reported that Mahabir was bleeding from a wound to the right side of his head. An autopsy which was later performed at the Forensic Science Centre, St James, confirmed Mahabir was murdered as he died from blunt force trauma to the head. Villagers who live near the school said minutes before Mahabir was found dead on the pavement, they heard loud noises coming from the front of the school.

The body was said to be discovered at around 5am Wednesday morning and removed around 8am when students were just arriving. The motive for the killing has not been discovered. But as most killings in Trinidad go, he was either in trouble with some gang or just in the wrong place at the wrong time. But whatever the case may be, it's still sad that he had to die by the hands of another man. Mahabir is a father of two.

I'm really sad for Mahabir and his family but i'm also concerned about those students. Imagine seeing a dead body at such a young age. If it was a high school, it may have been normal, but it was a primary school. So a large majority of the students are under the age of 12. The few that saw the scene will definitely be scarred for life. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
