SAD: Man Whose Skin Was Blue Dies At Age 62.

Sup Travellers?! Have you ever felt blue? We've all probably felt blue at some point in our life. But a man by the name of Paul Karason is not just blue at some points of his life. He is always blue. While he's eating, HE'S BLUE, while bathing, HE'S BLUE, while he's happy, HE'S BLUE, while having sex, HE'S BLUES BLUE. But that was then. According to reports from NBC News, Paul Karason also known as Papa Smurf is unfortunately now dead. RIP.

He reportedly died on Monday in a Washington hospital after suffering a heart attack and stroke, at age 62. How did his skin turn blue, you ask? Well, he wasn't always a Papa Smurf [This was his nickname, not an insult]. Back in 2008, Paul told Matt Lauer on the Today Show that he started turning blue a decade and a half ago after applying and ingesting silver [Yes, ingesting silver can turn your skin blue]. He was trying to treat dermatitis on his face and had used what is described as "a silver-based remedy" along with colloidal silver. He consumed 10 ounces of the FDA DISPROVED liquid a day.

What happened after was truly wonderful yet tragic. He got argyria, a disease whereby silver amasses in the skin and organs and stays there. It causes the skin to turn blue. This caused his marriage to spiral into trouble and his financial status to drop. "People are reluctant to hire blue people." Karason said in an interview. Papa Smurf [His nickname], also battled prostate cancer and health problems. He eventually succumbed to his health problems on the 9th of September 2013. RIP Mr. Karason. My name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
