Sup Travellers?! So there were these two Russians right. They were running a race at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow and after they won they decided to lock lips with each other on the winner's podium. Now for some people, it may not be a big deal but to Russians it is a huge deal because Russia is apparently very very serious about their Anti Gay polices. Read on.

I don't know if you know this but the Russian government takes their Anti-Gay policies very very seriously. Well this is according to Western Media of course. The debate on the policies is currently heating up so a lot of controversy ensued after these two Russian women decided to publicly share a smooch yesterday after winning gold medals for their country. Now that's definitely going to make a statement. Kseniya Ryzhova and Tatyana Firova had just won gold in the women's 4X400 relay, reports Sky News, when they decided to kiss on top of the Winner's podium in Moscow.

Meanwhile, Russian sports minister Vitaly Mutko spoke out today saying that Olympic athletes' private lives won't be subject to the law. "The freedoms of Russian and foreign athletes and guests who come to Sochi will be absolutely protected." Knowing how serious Russia is about their Anti Gay policies it was strange to know that nothing was done. However, according to Mr. Mutko the country's anti-gay propaganda law is "an invented problem" by Western media. Seems legit.

This is definitely not something that usually happens on a world stage but it does happen. Was it the right thing to do? Well, they were representing their country so it probably wasn't the best thing to do. As I said a million times before, I don't hate gay people i'm just not fond of the concept of homosexuality. Some say that the action was a political statement or gesture made by the women while some some say that it was something else. But whatever it was it doesn't change the fact that my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.

You're not fond of the concept? You don't need to be. I'm not fond of apples, but they exist as apples regardless of my personal feelings.

  2. being gay is a sickness that need to be cured by any means necessary

replace 'gay' with 'black'? The fact that you would equate being black with being gay is mind blowing..Being black is an innate trait while homosexuality, being anything close to natural is completely suggestive, by the media and the LGBT, scientist have NEVER proven that anyone is born a homosexual...In other words no one can end a gay/anti-gay debate by suggesting its natural by equating it with being black, because it is no where near that.. smh
