Sup Travellers?! What is your opinion on Transgenders? Do you think that they should be accepted? It's not like if they are harmful right? We can go on and on about what we think about Transgenders and gays and if they should be legally accepted or not. But I believe that no matter what your sexual orientation is, you still deserve to live. It's your human right to express your opinions about the LGBT's whether it be positively or negatively but it is not your human right to destroy a human life. But apparently a few Jamaican people weren't aware of their human rights. Read on.

According to reports from the New York Daily News, a 16 year old Jamaican boy named Dwayne Jones was killed for being a transgender. He was apparently beaten and scorned his whole life for his sexual orientation. His father, along with his neighbors kicked him out of his own neighborhood at the age of 14 for being effeminate. He was even teased to the point where he dropped out of school. Last month, the 16 year old's battered body was found after being beaten, stabbed, shot, and run over by a car. The carnage happened when the transgendered teen made the fatal error of attending a street party in Jamaica dressed as a woman. The rest was history.

Transgenders and gays are not an accepted group in the Caribbean yet so you'd probably expect things like this. But that still doesn't deny the fact that the people who were responsible for the death of the young Jamaican were wrong and deserve the blunt end of justice. But Dwayne was also wrong if you look at it on both sides. Why did he go out dressed as a woman among a group of anti LGBT? Did he expect to be shown any kind of love whatsoever? Probably wasn't the smartest thing to do but at the end of the day Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender, they are all humans and killing them is still murder. I would love to see how this story develops but don't forget that my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.

Yea tho they may not be going anywhere they need to know their place an basically keep to what they know! I heard about the events which lead to the beating, all i could say is he look for that. Drunk, gay hating Jamaicans, all in one place, u dress up like a woman, wining on a next man......we all know how rage under liquor gets precedence. On sober head i might have run him or something but under alcohol the emotions of disgust and embarrassment.....i would have beat him to a frazzle too. Just saying! Its all based on circumstance.
