Sup Travellers?! It is becoming more and more evident that Jamaican music is getting more and more mainstream lately. Don't get me wrong, Jamaican music was recognized by lots of people before but it wasn't considered mainstream music. And when I say Jamaican music I mean. Reggae, Dancehall and Concious.

Just recently, Busta Rhymes and Nicki Minaj dropped the music video for their song Twerk it and it has Jamaica written all over it. Trinidad also got a shout out in the video by Nicki Minaj. The video is at the top so feel free to go click play. However I must warn you that explicit language is used. So viewer discretion is advised. Pharrell is the producer of the single and is also doing additional work on Busta’s album, due in stores later this year. Busta Rhymes upcoming album E.L.E. 2  is the sequel to his 1998 critically acclaim ed album.
