NEWS: Huge Tragedy In Spain. Atleast 35 People Died.

Sup Travellers?! I had no intentions of writing another article today but news just has a way of popping up when you least expect it. Clearly!! Who expected 35 people to die in Spain today? No one really, but it happened and we are deeply saddened by the unfortunate turn of events that caused the tragic mishap. Read on for more details.

According to reports from basically every single major news network in the world, 35 people died in Spain today after a train was derailed. According to CNN, a high-speed train in the northwest part of Spain derailed tonight, and a government official says at least 35 people died. Dozens more were injured. CNN says the train had 218 passengers and derailed about 8:40pm local time near the station in the city of Santiago de Compostela, 60 miles south of El Ferrol. The cause however still remains unclear.

The train, which belongs to the state-owned Renfe company, was on its way to El Ferrol from Madrid. The BBC says all 13 cars came off the tracks, and it quotes one passenger who says they seemed to "pile up on one another" at a curve in the tracks. "There are bodies lying on the railway track," says one government official. "It's a Dante-esque scene."

This is sad no matter what country you're from. My heart really goes out to the families who lost their loved ones tonight in the tragic event. I can't even begin to fathom how they must be feeling. Let's just hope that the incident causes the government to take proper precautions to ensure that it doesn't happen again. My name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
