TRINIDAD: Thousands Of Students Are Registered To Sit SEA Tomorrow.... Good Luck To Them All.

Sup Travellers?! I remember those good old days when I had to sit SEA. I was scared as hell to do it, but  as I sat down and did the exams I found it really easy. I did pretty well in those exams, I think. I honestly can't remember how I did but what I do remember is that I passed for my second choice. So I guess I did good. I wish UWI exams were as simple as SEA. Anyway, enough about me.

According to reports from the Trinidad and Tobago Newsday, Education Minister, Dr Tim  Gopeesingh said  that a total of 18,039 students would be writing the Language Arts and Mathematics component of the exam tomorrow. The Creative Writing aspect had been completed previously. This is a relatively large figure because last year a total of 17,916 students wrote the exam with 4.8% of them from Tobago. It wasn't much of an increase. Only 123 more, but that's still an epic figure if you ask me.

I wish all of those valiant students good luck in their exams and that they make us all proud. I just have a feeling that there is going to be a 100% pass rate. Who else feels that? Am I the only one? It's wishful thinking, but great things never stem from doubt. Anyway, Gopeesingh said a lot more and you can read the entire article over at the Trinidad and Tobago Newsday. But I must warn you that it is a bunch of boring stuff. He is the minister of Education, you'd probably expect that. Anyway, my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
