Greetings Travellers!! Are you a fan of the Harry Potter series? Well if you are then this news is going to hit you really hard at home. An actor from the Harry Potter movies has passed away on Friday due to complications following heart surgery in central England. Now i'm sure you're still wondering who it is. Well it's Harry Potters uncle Vernon. You guys remember uncle Vernon? Harry's unsympathetic uncle. He was played by the renowned actor Richard Griffiths. He died at age 65.

Griffiths was one of England's most renowned actors and has won many awards in his time with the most special being a Tony Award for his part in the movie "The History Boys." Daniel Radcliffe, Griffiths' costar in the Harry Potter films as well as on stage in "Equus," told The Guardian newspaper he's "proud to say I knew him."

Daniel Radcliffe also had this to say about Griffiths:

"In August 2000, before official production had even begun on 'Potter,' we filmed a shot outside the Dursleys', which was my first ever shot as Harry. I was nervous and he made me feel at ease," Radcliffe recalled. "Seven years later, we embarked on 'Equus' together. It was my first time doing a play but, terrified as I was, his encouragement, tutelage, and humor made it a joy. In fact, any room he walked into was made twice as funny and twice as clever just by his presence."

It's always bad news to hear that someone has died. My condolences go out to his family and I hope that Griffiths may rest in peace. However, this doesn't change the fact that my name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
