The Beetham has always been a hotspot in Trinidad and Tobago. It is a Trinis greatest fear to shut down at the Beetham because chances are you will be stripped of everything you have including your dignity. Even though  most of the times you are only just robbed, there is a chance that you could get shot in the face like what happened to 12 year old Gordon Lee on Thursday.

According to reports, at about 10:30 pm on Thursday, Gordon Lee and his mother were in a Corolla going east along the Beetham Highway. When the two reached in the vicinity of the Vehicle Maintenance Company of Trinidad and Tobago (VEMCOTT) a man fired two shots at the vehicle. One of the shots struck Gordon lee on the left side of his cheek and exited on the right side of his face.

The injured boy was then taken to the EWMSC where he was treated and warded. Police investigators believe that the gunman shot the car in order to make her stop the car to rob her, but I don't think the gunman planned it very well. Shooting a car will not cause a person to stop their car but drive away faster..... Just saying. But all in all, thank God that the boy didn't die.

Anyway don't forget to like and subscribe to this blog. You can handle all that by looking to the bottom of the blog. My name is Trinikid and you've just been informed.
