Citizens of Alaska were awaken this morning by a giant quake that recorded a massive 7.5 on the Richter scale. The quake occurred at about 12 midnight and located about 60 miles west of Craig, Alaska, said the US Geological Survey. There has been no reports of death, injuries or damage as of now.

There was also a Tsunami warning but it was later dismissed as no threat was found.  The warning area included coastal areas from Cape Fairweather, Alaska, to the north tip of Vancouver Island, Canada, more than 700 miles.
