Kiam Moriya is about to have a 12th birthday that we'll never forget. The Alabama kid will be turning 12 years old on the 12th of the 12th month 2012 at 12:12 pm. It's kind of hard to believe but it is really true according to Daily Mail. The number symmetry is quite unique and it's the last time that something like this will ever happen in this life.

According to Yahoo News, Moriya, of Birmingham, Alabama was born in Bronxville, New York, on December 12, 2000, at exactly 12:12 p.m.

"When I'm turning 12, it's going to be nothing but 12s," Moriya told AL.com.

The date is so strange that Moriya says even his friends are skeptical when he tells them about his birthday this Wednesday.

"Most of them didn't believe me," Kiam told AL.com.

According to the Daily Mail, Moriya was even born seven or eight weeks early to make the fortuitous date possible.

"Just all of a sudden her water broke. Doctors couldn't tell us exactly why she had him so early," the boy's father, Kazua Moriya, told the paper.

The boy's father, who was born in Tokyo, works at HTNA, an automotive manufacturing supplier in Jasper and also serves as a Presbyterian minister. The father noted the religious importance of the 12s. He said in the Bible the number 12 is significant since in the Old Testament because there were 12 tribes of Israel.
In New Testament times, there were 12 disciples of Jesus. The father also said 12 is a significant number in Japanese culture

Kiam said he's been aware of all the 12s associated with his birthday "ever since I've had my memory." He told AL.com that he's been looking forward to 12:12 p.m. on December 12 for a long time.

"It's like one minute out of a whole lifetime," Kiam said. "You know, it's all 12s."
