BOX OFFICE: How Much Did Pixar's Brave Make/Gross In Its Opening Weekend Box Office? An Epic $66.7 Million.

Pixar is probably the only studio that never fails in the box office. Thirteen of Pixar's films has hit the number one spot in the box office in a row, with the new film being Brave

The new film Brave outperformed Pixar's previous summer release, Cars 2, which made $66.1 Million, therefore Brave is now Pixar's Fifth best opening ever, and also the first Pixar film to feature a female heroine. The film was also of really good quality not only in terms of the plot but the look and feel of it.

"They do amazing things," said Dave Hollis, an exec for Disney, Pixar's studio home.

Even though Brave was a film for girls, boys made up 43% of the audience, which is weird.

"That's like boys playing with dolls..lolz. I hope that it was just case of boys carrying their girlfriends to see the movie and not anything else," Quote by Trinikid.
